Wow, this must've been delayed last year. Thankfully, this goes by an alias in the search engine.

@Acura_Max: Please update this to the current format for discussion threads. :)

Well that was pretty interesting.

Pilot was pretty good. An the best part it showed My Little Pony fans the true nature of those things. As well as how to deal with them.

World very anime fantasy like. Mix of tech an magic. Also anime does love its sniper rifles does it not. So much so to turn one into a wizards wand more or less.This one probably will go the full season for me.Good animation an illustration style. An the story feels good for a anime. Plus they offered the death of a evil unicorn to keep me watching. How can I turn that down?

Strange Shonen-esque series. There was a lot going on in the pilot's episode. Not much exposition to explain what were those monsters. For world building, they replace it with mostly action and setting up for the 2nd episode. I'm pretty good with the trio of characters. I think I'll continue on with the series.

@takashichea: Apparently the anime has been going at a pretty fast pace compared to the manga. I think the first ep covered like the first 5-10 chapters.

@hitsusatsu11:

Thanks for confirming. I was suspicious about how much they crammed in the first episode. Hopefully, they will take will time and spend on world building in the next episode.

Saw the first episode. So far, it seems very promising, but one of the characters piss me off to the point of having them killed. The Unicorn's demise was brilliant though, so I'll continue.

@Bigheart711:

Which character? I bet it's the young lad, Acura. Weird, he has Acura's name. Didn't think Acura was a Japanese name. I find Chaika a bit cute. Seeing her broken Japanese reminded me of the young kids that came from home country with their broken English.

@takashichea: Tohru and Chaika are fine. It was Tohru's sister that I wanted dead (and that's a rather uncommon chance for some characters), but that's unlikely unless something huge is about. :(

Which one looks better as her default image? I tried to find a front shot of her smiling, but they zoom on her face a lot.

@takashichea: I think the first one works more. It's actually cute.

@takashichea: I like second one a bit better, she has a better expression in it.

@takashichea: The 1st one.

@takashichea: The second one is better but the first one is cuter.

We had a tie, so I end up using the cute image in the character section. Kept the 2nd one until I get a better shot of her. Thanks guys.

2nd was good. Nice pace good action an more world build.

Also im ok with our main male leads motives. He makes a fine anti hero by motives tho i suspect what he said was not all of the story.

This world tey have would make a good rpg.

This series' fights is pretty entertaining more than Blade and Soul. Toru grows on me with this episode. It was his spotlight and Chaika's too in this series. He serves as somewhat an anti-hero. Only pursuing his interests and backing Chaika and his sister while the world can go to hell.

Neat episode good action. Id like to know why that giant medieval tank thought it nessesary to swerve out of the way of that cart toru threw at it lol.

@takashichea: I find a lot of similarities in the fighting scenes of this and Blade and Soul. Must be the short sword action and blood.
