@takashichea: Yeah mean one sided on Nice's side. She does not seem to be interested in him in that way from what I have seen thus far. Whole thing about it being her fault tho was total BS. Its not her powers thats is affecting them I don't think at least it is.

@Marshal Victory:

Oh I see your point there. I don't think it was her fault. Art and the woman with the flower scar are making her think that to activate her Minimum.

9 was good. Nice dual dialogue part as well. Which was also a shadow of the dual dialogue in the play. Honey's father reminded me of some nasty bits of political dogma. Those who do not contribute to society have no right to live etc. Foolish an heartless in one package.

Um @takashichea: After the play part I would say tey both seem to like each other equally. So I was wrong. Thought Nice was the cold fish in the pair.

@Marshal Victory:

Finished watching the episode. It was unexpected. No worries. I didn't think this show had a slight romance thing. Feel bad for Birthday who might die. I always assume Hamatora's gang (Nice's bar friends) will all survive. Then again, comic relief characters aren't spared.

@takashichea: You did catch that the tw that are behind the bar work for the institution ? was few episodes back.

10 does the super hero against each other bit. So we have 6 factions in all here I believe. An our team this whole season has been losing. Super comeback incoming asap cause its just 2 more episodes?

I have a problem with 11. We just get introduced to Skill now? Art's brother. Some of this had long term story telling but this was just dropped into the story as a side note thats the main song it seems. The reason for all this was for Skill, Art's brother. Who I have no recollection of at all.

It bugs me. Not sure why but it does. The rest of the show interlaces well but this sticks out as a late to the party https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacGuffin . Just bugs me.

@Marshal Victory:

The name of the trio is weird: Nice Art Skill.

Besides my bad joke, I wasn't expecting that of Art. Then again, Art is Jesus, but he is using Nice as Jesus instead. Sorry for the religious stuff. I keep seeing them from Art who tries to use Hajime to get rid of all the Minimums. Yeah, Skill wasn't really introduced at all before this episode.

@takashichea: I was seeing the name pun as Art Skill Nice! But ya now we know bout all the characters. 1st season even tho the early episodes seemed episodic they were sowing long term story bits into the over all plot. This season seems like its less that an more super secret origin type stuff with a over arcing plot with Art being the anti hero.

One more episode to go if ANN is right. Do not expect Nice to be dead after the how this season started.

Hmm 12 was good an not good. Seems it split the fans of the show to. Some thought the ending was great. Others end was horrible an it should have ended with 11. Bit to much of a "nice" bow on things me thinks but have seen worse endings.

Tho Arts release makes me wonder you get only 6 months for all that death an destruction? Err the clarity on what happened in the 1st season makes up for alot but thats kinda wtf happy pants ending. Still over all it will make it to my average an above list. Minus the horrible cut scene wipes an scratchy guitar it was interesting at the least. It did suffer from a bit of plot pacing. But over all the animation an illustration style held up to the 1st season well enuff.

Episode 12 was a bit strange for me. You had serious and funny moments mixing in. Finally, Skill, Art, Nice, and Hajime's stories are piecing together. It explains why Nice wasn't killed that time. Can't believe the flower lady kills herself out of boredom. Since I haven't read the manga, I would say the ending was decent. I just don't know what to say about Nice and Art. I get why Art is fighting for, but his purpose just didn't ring for me after Skill joins the story. Can't explain why. It feels off.

You were right. He's still alive. Someone needs to tell Hajime not to pile hamburgers on someone's grave stone.

@Marshal Victory:

I guess Skill doesn't mind since he's an upbeat person. Would you recommend Hamatora, Marshal?

Post by Marshal Victory (2,758 posts) See mini bio Level 14

@takashichea: For some one looking at anime that is a super hero fan it would be a good starter anime. Its got its problems or rather things that grate on my nerves but overall its above average. Its big swing from wacky to drama an gore might turn off some tho.

@Marshal Victory:

Hamatora's seizure colors were gone in season 2. I'm glad it was gone. I don't know what else to bag on Hamatora besides the extreme mood swings in tense situations. It's like the same thing in Akame ga Kill and Brynhildr in the Darkness. Super Hero - we could use that for Tokyo ESP's recommendation. That whole series pushes hero, racism which is the main core elements of X-Men. Then again, I don't read X-Men comics. I only know the TV adaption.
