@Destinyheroknight: I was just as puzzled about the drama, couldn't understand why Lucy was making such a big deal. The fish lady wasn't dying or anything. I can accept Lucy using the King to beat Tartaros, though, yes, fairy tail relies way too much on brute force; Lucy could have achieved victory using her wits and power (however limited). Though that summon reminds me of bleach, the way the main characters do some really amazing things at the end of each fight when they should be out of power.

Been enjoying Fairy Tail the past few weeks, but that enjoyment end in this Chapter. Why did Wendy cut her hair off at the beginning? She never worry about her appearance before, it feel like Hiro just read that Chapter of Naruto with Sakura cutting her hair and totally miss the meaning to it.

Minerva, Minerva, Minerva you really disappoint me, I like your character in the Magic Games Arc. But you keep going down hill, I really wish Hiro would have build up the flashback. I bet in the next arc we find out Minerva's father was just sad he lost his wife and that why he like to strip women who cry. I didn't feel nothing from the flashback

I never what to see Sting again, I know Sting would just leave Minerva behind if the main bad guy is to powerful for him. He didn't care about Lector's life, he didn't try to fight the remaining injure Fairy Tail members and now you want me to believe that he can face the main bad guy

Any way, I glad the other guilds have come to help.

I don't like Sting, it to late to redeem him.

Shoot, I have to delete my old post :(

Anyway, I like the reveal of Silver. I knew he was Gray's father, but revealing himself as that demon throw me for a loop. Great job, Hiro. You got me interested in one of your villains, but sadly the other are really boring

I have no idea who is fighting Natsu and the others, they feel like faceless henchmen. I also still mad that Sting came back, I really don't like that guy

Also, I really don't like that the other guilds don't get involved. I wondering what they doing, if I look out of a window and see 1000 faces, I would go see what is happening, not just sit at home and watch tv

Anyway, like the reveal, but the rest of the chapter was meh

I never thought about the other guilds getting involved; it should be the logical step. Then again Raven Tail just got involved two chapters back, so that sort of plugs that plot hole. I thought i could predict the fairy tail story but silver's reveal was a real surprise to me. But then again i can sort of see how Gray is going to win this fight. If Deliora is alive, then Ur's spirit is probably somewhere within him and will somehow help gray defeat the demon.

Then again deliora is using Gray's father's corpse. chances are he will wake up long enough to give his son some powerup, or at least paralyze deliora long enough for Gray to defeat him. Whatever the case, ur or Gray's father's spirits being alive explains why Deliora was visiting that grave the first time we saw him.

Why does Deliora know Natsu? And why did he help him and wendy escape? Those are the important questions

Hiro turning Minerva good in such a cheesy way is only second to sting giving up during the tournament as far as terrible fairy tail moments go. That shouldn't have happened. We might as well wait for Deliora to start hugging Gray and joining Fairy Tail, because clearly no one is immune to fairy tail speeches.

Mardgeer fought the spirit king and survived with ease; how is he not vaporizing sting and rogue. This is probably the arc when Rogue's cat dies and he turns evil.

@Destinyheroknight: @katmic:

In case you haven't read the news. I'm actually reading a bunch of news since I'm a week behind.

Hiro Mashima's 400th Chapter

This year's 41st issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Hiro Mashima will draw a one-shot manga story with a color opening page in the following issue on September 17. The Japanese-style epic fantasy "Hoshigami no Satsuki" will revolve around a magic sword and "the strongest protagonist." It will be the first all-new one-shot story from Mashima in three years.

Mashima is also publishing the 400th chapter of Fairy Tail in the following issue. To celebrate the accomplishment, the chapter will have a color opening page, and the magazine will give away an exclusive Quo Card to 400 readers.

Speaking of which, the anime will reach 200 episodes soon. I better think of something cool to celebrate. I know I did something to celebrate it 2 years ago. I can't find that thread.

@katmic: @AFGM: @Destinyheroknight:

You probably saw. I'll just post it just in case.

Hiro Mashima celebrates his 400th chapter of Fairy Tail while Akira Hiramoto does a tribute art to his friend.

@takashichea:

I'm so uncomfortable, with that tribute art. I really hope it wasn't in Weekly Shonen Magazine

I don't see it as a tribute, Ezra shouldn't be bind and have "sweat" (please let it be sweat) and over her body.

I feel Shun Saeki did a better job with his tribute to current and past Jump titles and he a hentai artist

I have problems with it, but it still show their characters (beside Nami)

@Destinyheroknight:

I think it was in the magazine. It has the text of a typical magazine pin up poster. I never read Prison School manga. I seen that artwork. It's pretty awesome.

I realized the Fairy Tail anime is so behind. When did Wendy went into Dragon Force and what the hell is a Ice Devil Slayer? That's not original for Gray Fullbuster. Ice Make Wizard sounds more awesome than Ice Devil Slayer.

I saw these images when I was cleaning manga scans in the battle forums today. Got curious.

@Destinyheroknight: I mean't anime that really fits with FT like OP, Naruto, and Bleach you know shounen action adventures Digimon is more like pokemon, monster ranch, and medabots. I think FT is not original I just mean't that FT is not all those other manga they actually state that emotion and friendship does make you stronger and the whole point of fiction statement is because people really try to make the argument on how can Natsu get stronger with feeling and I got say Natsu has flames of emotion which literally means he get's stronger the more he feels. Also the fire punch is okay with me Luffy's awesome.

While were here many people ask for Character development, losing, and death but people gotta understand that like I said previously not all manga are the same pacing is going to be different. Just because Natsu and Erza always wins doesn't mean Hiro want ever make them lose if anyone hasn't noticed the big 3 villains Acnologia, Zeref, and E.N.D all three of this people have the power to not only make them lose but cause death which could lead to character development. Hiro is not a bad writer in the slightest (My opinion) he could could do some god like stuff.

I done with Fairy Tail again, this scene

I'm so sick of Erza and her fighting.

I was talking about this on the battle forum. This is technically the proper place. I can't believe how far Mashima will go with the friendship.
Post by Destinyheroknight (10,379 posts) See mini bio Level 21

@Shokar:

Digimon is an action adventure show, it just like Fairy Tail in it emotion and friendship theme. One Piece and Naruto also state that emotion and friendship is power, the difference is they don't use it in every Arc. To me, if you keep using the same thing over and over it get boring and I lose interest

Well, I glad you like it. But I don't like how it going or really care about those villains. I read Fairy Tail for four years and I been disappointed for all of the villains Hiro hype up and I feel they will end the same. I don't think Hiro is a bad writer, I don't like where the story or the character is headed. I just sick of the same old Friendship

@Destinyheroknight: I never really have hated on any anime series I have seen, it wasn't till I started watching review and reading peoples comments that I noticed how flawed a anime could be I use to think FT and OP where god like but now I just think FT has so many problems yet I still love it, and for OP I just think it needs to end already all the characters just seem so boring to me after I watched the meeting up after two years nothing really was good anymore maybe that's why I really don't mind FT problems if OP isn't that enjoyable what is the same with Akame ga kill which got boring fast.

@Shokar:

I don't hate on Anime, I normally just say what problem I have with it and be on my merry way. With Fairy Tail, I used to love it. But it start doing things I dislike, and cause me to repeating drop it. The Friendship, The Fan service and The Fights (The three F's). I keep giving Fairy Tail a chance, but it keeping ending the same way.

One Piece, I still into it. I love the characters, villains and story. Oda keep pulling out stuff that really interest me, like how close Doflamingo and his family are and Law's back story. I can look past flaws, if the story entertain me

Love this scene
Love this scene

Akame ga kill never got into it, was bored from the start :)

@Destinyheroknight: Most people have a anime that they despise most likely it's something overated or something so bad no one likes it but i'm the type of person to watch it as if it just like every other anime. I honestly enjoy reading FT because you really don't know what will happen people say "I already know there going to win" but do you really? why do you read you do not enjoy it? Everyone says this but Natsu, Erza and friends are not overpowered they can lose it's up to Hiro to decide maybe Hiro has a plan build up friendship just to rip Natsu and friends apart.

Post by Destinyheroknight (10,379 posts) See mini bio Level 21

@Shokar:

I personally don't believe that anything is overrated, I don't really care what popular or not.

I'll be honest with you, Erza and Natsu fights are very boring. Erza usually pull out a new armor or use her samurai armor thing to win (say something about friendship) and Natsu will yell and punch the villain. That what their fights are to me, I haven't read the new chapter yet. But I pretty much know that Erza will beat up the villain and the villain somehow activate Face. Everyone say "oh no" then the other guild come in to save the day or the old guy summon the super power thing they keep to hyping to save the day (or both). Tell me, if I wrong? Also, another problem I have is the villains are really not that interesting to me.

No, I lost any hope about that happening. And I don't want to keep reading, in hopes that will happen. The only way I come back, if Grey become the main character and freeze both Erza and Natsu. Hiro have lost me with the endless friendship speech, I don't like any of the characters (beside Grey and Elfman). And also with his trying to make things serious, by killing a town full of people and the Magic council

So, I'm out. I glad that Fairy Tail don't have the curse that Naruto have LOL!

Post by Shokar (23 posts) See mini bio Level 7

She beat the villian but she passed out before finishing her and then Minerva stabbed her (the demon) but she died with a smile and face started that is all so far and i'm not sure what will happen no magic no mages no hype spell thingy hopefully Makrov will die so people can shut up about death being a mandatory thing in a manga. As far as villains go I don't really see any really good villains in any thing they are never a surprise. I like fairy tail as well as Natsu and Erza couldn't careless if they changed or stayed the same.

What curse of Naruto?
