@Dekken:

Oh, that could be it. :)

The pompadour guy was actually quite handsome. Why did he changed his hair style into something so lame?

I actually quite like his goofy pompadour, but I agree with you, he's actually genuinely good-looking with his hair down.

The upcoming villain shown at the end of the teaser, Zank/Zanku looks rather like a Megaman villain to me, which I sort of like.

@Oglaphone:

That reminds me to add him to the Hot When Their Pompadours are Down list. Looking forward to the next episode.

Well, Episode 3 was better than I thought. Also, I've been warned not to fall in no love with nobody in this show, but I failed after seeing Najenda and Braht. They ended up being my favorites.

I wouldn't worry too much about avoiding getting attached to the characters. After all, typically when you watch a movie or read a book, once you get to the end of it, you'll never see the characters again but you don't usually let that put you off of liking them.

Just apply a similar mentality to AgK.

I got some new character concept art from Crunchyroll. I transfer them into their character galleries shortly.

4 carried on the monster of the week theme sadly. Not that it was not worth watching, but would like a bit more over arching plot. Hopefully that will come as time goes on. looks like some of this episodes events carry over to the next episode. Blast it all seen part of the preview :/ Really try to avoid those.

@Bigheart711: @Oglaphone: Dunno thats part of the appeal of anime to me is the characters that die when you least expect it. To have characters you grow attached to age , grow an die feels more natural to me than the invincible intellectual property. Far to much is made in story telling these days on the character brand an protecting it. Then say making the story world is the brand. Which anime does better than Hollywood.

Not to say anime does not have their fair share of invincible characters. Just that its a selling point to me that death in anime is not as predictable.

@Marshal Victory:

I think episode 4 deviated from the monster/assassin of the week thing. We still went from Akame to Mein and then back to Akame for some reason. They kept teasing us with Bulat and his manliness exercise moments. Next episode will continue the theme with Sheele. For me, I like to explore the characters a bit if I had to sacrifice plot progression. It's like Wizard Barristers.

@takashichea: I like this episode, we got a antagonist who wasn't just bad for the sake of being bad, we got hints on Akame's past, Akane owned Zank and we got incite on the imperial arms.

I also like that Akame is not just a cold character and that she is a warm person.

Tatsumi still got to shine so that was good.

I look forward to the next episode.

@takashichea: You mean as in Wizard Barristers plot progression and or character progression. Sorry kinda got lost there. It may start not to be monster of the week. Which I really hope they do. Would like more character history an progression. Monster of the week style does not help progress either it seems.

@LHWKnight:

I love it, too. Akame reminds me of Toka of Tokyo Ghouls except less mean.

@Marshal Victory:

The first half of Wizard Barrister focus on the different characters - that was what I'm referring too.

@takashichea: got ya. Character of the week progression so to speak.
