Interested in getting into animation? Not willing to ship out to Japan for a low-paying, heavy-hours job in the anime world (and cool as it'd be, who could blame you)? Good news: Cartoon Network will be on hand at Anime Expo to review portfolios at Artist's Alley.

You have to be a registered attendee and you must sign up at the Cartoon Network booth at Artist's Alley-- and as early as you can after arriving at the con and getting your badge, too, because there are limited hours for the reviews and there will probably be a lot of demand!

That said, if any of you cool cats decide to try your hand and show off your stuff, give me a heads up. I'd love to film what a portfolio review looks like, if I could find an artist who's willing (and, of course, assuming Cartoon Network and Anime Expo are also amiable to the idea).

...But even if you don't want me to stick my nose (or camera) into your review, let us know if you're going to try and do one, so the rest of us can root for you!

Portfolio reviews are usually kinda chill, though it depends on the guy reviewing... very, very few people have the heart to tell kids they suck though. :O
