Fuhrer King Bradley
The current Fuhrer throughout all the series is King Bradley. To most of the nation he is seen as a forceful and kind leader. A loving husband to his wife, Mrs. Bradley, and his adopted son, Selim. Unknown to most of the world, his entire history is a fiction created by Father and his loyal followers. It is unknown who his family was. He was left as an infant to a lab that was raising many other children to train them and educate them at the peak of human potential. This was to create the perfect person to hold the station of Furer. He was the only survivor to assimilate the the Philosopher's Stone of Father that created him into the human-based Homunculus, Wrath. The eyepatch he wears cover the mark of the Oroboros on his eye. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Bradley's origin was slightly changed, but was still the commander of the central forces. In this anime was was the Holunuclus know as Pride. |

Lt. General Raven One of the members of the corrupt military cabal of Father, Raven was at one time well known as a kind and generous commander who was promoted to Central command from his position in the Eastern Forces based upon his compassion. At some point during his tenure in Central, he was brought into Father's plot to use the nation as a plan to bring him and the others in the cabal immortality, but at the cost of the lives of most of the nation. He would reach out to others in the military chain of command as a feeler to see if a soldier would be corruptible into their plot. He was murdered by Olivier Milla Armstrong in Briggs and his body buried in cement at the base of Fort Briggs. She would take his place in the cabal under the guise of assisting. |

Lt. General Gardner A high ranking member of the cabal was Gardner. As another high ranking member of central command, he was complicate in the plot to use the nation's people to gain immortality. When Major-General Armstrong was transferred to Central Command, he brought her to the lower levels to show her the Mannequin Soldiers they had created to be a new force after they all attained immortality. During the coup de tat of Central, Gardner was shot in the head my Armstrong. |

Lt. General Fox A high ranking member of the cabal in Central Forces was Fox. He was a younger member of the commanding generals. During the coup de tat of the Eastern and Briggs forces, he watched over Major-General Olivier Armstrong to prevent her from meeting with her soldiers. She turned on his by stabbing him through the arm with her sword and used him as a hostage to get Central Forces to surrender. He refused to issue those orders, but was crushed to death by the monstrous Homunculus Sloth who was aiming for Armstrong and missed. |

Brigadier-General Clemin A high ranking member of the cabal and commander of forces in Central City is Clemin. He distributed orders to forces from the capital building during the coup de tat that threatened their plan. He was captured by the forces of Briggs and was one of the only surviving members to stand trial when guilt of the coup was turned on him and the other cabal survivors. |

Brigadier-General Edison A loyal member of Father's cabal is Edison. An older man who was easily tempted to immortality and believed their actions would make the nation stronger and conquer the whole world to bring peace. He was captured by Izumi Curtis and Olivier Milla Armstrong during the coup de tat on Central. She was saved by Izumi from the Mannequin Soldiers that had been let loose and were trying to kill him. He was put on trail when the guilt of the coup was turned on him. |
| Solf J. Kimblee The State Alchemist, Solf J. Kimblee is known as the "Crimson Alchemist". He specializes in explosive alchemy. He has transmutation circles tattooed into his hands that allows him to use his specific form of alchemy. He was elected to use a test philosopher's stone in the Ishval War of Extermination. When he didn't want to return it, he swallowed the stone and killed all of the commanders who knew where it was. He was arrested, but was but eventually released to assist in Father's plot. Though not a general in rank, he is fully aware of Father, the Homunculus, and their plot for the nation. Though, it's unclear if he is aware that his life would also end with it's completion. He assists in this plot because they allow his to kill as he wishes with no consequences. |

Major-General Maes Hughes Maes Hughes began as a Lt. Colonel in the Criminal Affairs Office of Central. He's one of Roy Mustang's closest friends and a devoted husband and father, often irritating others by forcing them to look at the latest pictures of his daughter. He fought in the Ishval War of Extermination where he made the promise to support Roy on his goal to become the Fuhrer. He discovered the plot of the nation-wide transmutation circle and tried to warn Roy, but before he could say anything. He was murdered by the Homunculus Envy who was disguised as his wife. For dying in the line of duty, he was promoted two ranks. |

Brigadier-General Basque Grand The State Alchemist, Basque Grand was known as the "Iron Blood Alchemist" and was the military's expert in close combat. He specialized in creating powerful weapons from his surrounding. He took part in the Ishval War of Extermination He was one of earliest State Alchemists killed by the Ishvalan serial killer known only as Scar. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Basque Grands role was drastically different where he was made to be a Central command officer and assisted King Bradley in his illegal experiments at Lab 5. |

Brigadier General Fessler Fessler was a sadistic and cruel general during the Ishval War of Extermination. He was willing to throw as many soldiers to their death for his own personal glory. When Major Armstrong refused to kill anymore, he demanded another State Alchemist. Fessler was gun down by Basque Grand and his death was blamed on the enemy. |

Major General Gartner Gartner was the commanding officer that was sent to Briggs by Central Command to call for Major General Armstrong to report to Central so she could be questioned about the whereabouts of Lt. General Raven. In her absence, he was given full command of Fort Briggs. His role was to assist in creating a crest of blood as part of the nation-wide transmutation circle, but the forces of Briggs' will proved too strong. |

Colonel Roy Mustang The State Alchemist, Roy Mustang is known as the "Flame Alchemist". He specializes in creating powerful flame based attacks. His power and efficiency in the ishval War of Extermination also earned him the name "The Hero of Ishval". He was trained in flame alchemy by Berthold Hawkeye and joined the military to help the people. He uses special gloves made of Ignition Cloth and printed with a transmutation circle that allows him to create fire with just a snap of his fingers. He aims to become the next Fuhrer and change the government to a democracy led by the people. After the murder of Maes Hughes, Roy becomes obsessed with finding the true identity of his killer. After meeting each of the Homunculus, he asks them if they are the killer of Hughes. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Roy Mustang was made the killer of Winry Rockbell's parents, and he never gets revenge for Meas death. He loses the use of his left eye in the fight with King Bradley. |

Lt. Colonel Frank Archer Frank Archer is a character who is exclusive to the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime. He was the replacement for Maes Hughes after this murder. His aim toward public recognition found him becoming aware of the Homunculus and their secrets. He suffered severe injuries to half his body. He was saved, but half his body was replaced with automail and a heavy artillery cannon for his left arm. After his bodily repairs, he became loyal to the orders of King Bradley. |

Major Alex Louis Armstrong The State Alchemist, Alex Louis Armstrong is known as the "Strong Arm Alchemist". He specializes in powerful close quarters combat. Using specialized guantles, Alex Armstrong can create simple rubble into powerful projectiles with impacts that rival a cannon. He deserted his position during the Ishval War of Extermination. He was far too guilt ridden over the death of so many innocent men women and children. He's a flamboyant and muscular man who is very kind and emotional. He seems to take any chance he can to strip off his shirt and hug people tightly to the point of unintentional injuries. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Alex Armstrong is the oldest child of the family, but in the manga he is the fourth born child. Having three older sisters and one younger. |

Major Giolio Comanche The State Alchemist, Giolio Comanche was known as the "Silver Alchemist". He specialized in creating weapons from metal. Similar to Kimblee, Giolio has tattoos on his hands that assist in his alchemy in combat. His leg was injured during the Ishval War of Extermination and had to have it amputated. Several years later in Central City, he clashed with the Ishvalan serial killer of State Alchemsits, Scar. |

Captain Storch Storch was the original personal assistant to the Fuhrer King Bradley. After Roy Mustang's first attempt to unseat King Bradley failed, Storch handed reassignment orders to all of Mustang's men. His position of Fuhrer's assistant was taken by Riza Hawkeye. His role during the coup de tat at the finale of the anime was replaced by another offcier named Gamelan. |

Captain Yakolev Yakovlev is an officer in the Personnel Bureau Office in Central City. After Roy Mustang's first attempt to unseat King Bradley failed, Storch handed reassignment orders to all of Mustang's men with the former Fuhrer's assistant Storch. |

Captain Gamelan Gamelan is an officer in Central City and head of the Sovereign Battalion. During the coup de tat, Gamelan commanded forces that were loyal to King Bradley and attempted to storm Central Commands fortress, but him and all hismen were defeated by the Xingese warrior named Fu. A smoke screen was used to blind him and the soldiers but were only knocked out. In the canon Fullmetal Alchemist manga, Storch was the character who played the role taken by Gamelan. |

Captain Focker Focker is an officer from the records department of Central City under the command of Maes Hughes. After Hughes' murder, he guided Roy Mustang around to the points of interest into the crime. The Homunculus, Envy disguised himself as Focker in order to gain information on Mustang's investigation out of Sheska. |

1st Lt. Riza Hawkeye Riza Hawkeye is the daughter of Berthold Hawkeye who trained Roy Mustang in alchemy. She was tattooed on her back with the fruits of her father's greatest research in flame alchemy. She shared this with Roy Mustang to create the ignition gloves he uses. After her father's death, she joined the Amestris State Military with the goal of helping people. As a skilled sniper and weapons expert, her first mission was during the Ishval War of Extermination and earned the nickname of "Hawk Eyes". It was there she met Roy once more and joined his goal to create a new government. Riza is the one he chose to watch is back, but not only for protection. If she ever saw his stray from the path they have all chosen she had orders to kill him. She is normally very stoic had hardly shows any emotion, but has broken down in tears when she thought Roy had been killed, and Roy refers to her as his queen. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Riza never shows any real emotion until the very last episode when she believe Roy has been murdered. The two were shown to be enjoying a relationship, but it apparently ended some time before the events of the movie sequel Fullmetal Alchemist: The Conqueror of Shamballa(2005). |

2nd Lt. Jean Havoc Jean Havoc is one of Roy Mustang's loyal soldiers who began under his command at East City and moved with him to Central. Jean is a chain smoker and an expert in covert special ops missions. In a battle with the Homunculus, Jean is seriously injured by Lust. Though he survived, he was paralyzed from the waist down and was forced to retire. He moved back eat to work in a store owned by his family, but was still able to assist Mustang. jean was the one who provided arms and other weapons to Roy Mustang's coup de tat mission in Central. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Jean didn't suffer these near fatal wounds that put him in a wheelchair. |

2nd. Lt. Heymans Breda Heymans Breda is one of Roy Mustang's loyal troops who began under his command at East City and moved with him to Central. Breda is a heavy eater and skilled with information and strategy. During the coup de tat, Breda stayed at the radio station where they were holding Mrs. Bradley and would strategically give out information that would put Mustang in the best light. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Breda plays a small role and effects no part of the plot. |

2nd Lt. Maria Ross Maria Ross is one of the officers under the command of Alex Louis Armstrong and often has to deal with his personality. She, along with her partner Denny Brosh, was assigned to guard Edward Elric and his brother, Al, when they were being hunted by the State Alchemist serial killer, Scar. Maria was framed for the murder of Maes Hughes by Envy and others in Central Command. The goal was to give Mustang a target for his fury, but he used this chance to help her escape and fake her death. She was sent away to the land of Xing, but returned with Xing weapons to help Mustang's coup. In the non-canon 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Maria was also framed for Hughes murder and escaped prosecution with the help of Roy Mustang, but there she ran to was different. She didn't go out of country, but ran to Resembool. |

Sgt. Major Kain Fuery Kain Fuery is one of Roy Mustang's loyal troops who began under his command at East City and moved with him to Central. He is an expert in communications. He created a system at one of Mustang's hideouts that would allow them to scan all communications and give out false reports to control where unfriendly forces would be. After they were separated, Kain returned to help in Roy Mustang's coup. |

Sergent. Denny Brosh Denny Brosh is one of the officers under the command of Alex Louis Armstrong and often has to deal with his personality. He, along with his partner Maria Ross, was assigned to guard Edward Elric and his brother, Al, when they were being hunted by the State Alchemist serial killer, Scar. After Maria Ross was framed for Maes Hughes murder, he tried to confirm her whereabouts at the time of the crime, but all the commanding officers refused to hear his testimony. He was kept out of the loop that the death of Maria Ross had been faked. He wouldn't know the truth until Mustang's coup and heard her voice over the radio. |

Provost Marshal Henry Douglas Henry Douglas is the cheif investigator of the military police stationed in Central City. She was the primary investigator into the murder of Meas Hughes and unjustly implicated Maria Ross for the crime. Upon her escape, he issued orders to kill her is she resisted. An order that Roy Mustang used to his advantage when he faked Maria's death. It's unknown how involved Henry Douglas is into the plot of the King Bradley and Father. Though, he was ignoring any exculpatory evidence that could of cleared maria Ross. |

Sheska Sheska is not an official member of the Amestris State Military but is an employee of the Criminal Affairs department in the records keeping offices. She used to be a librarian who spent all her work time reading. Some time after she was fired. the Central Library, where the Criminal Affairs department kept much of it's back log of records, was the victim of an arson. it burned down with all the books and records. Maes Hughes would hire Sheska once he learned of her photographic memory from reading all the important records before she was fired. |
