The Vampire Alucard

His reign of terror is stuff of legends, as he held Transylvania in the grasp of terror. Dracula would meet his arch nemesis of this time line in a man named Abraham Van Hellsing. Taking and turning Mina Harker, The young wife of Jonathan Harker a retailer from Britain. We latter find out that Abraham was wrong when he said that Mina was free of Dracula’s curse. As the vampire was not killed, It means that the curse was still in her blood. We later find out that Mina’s bones are being used by the Doctor of Millennium to create the freak chips. Abraham with the help of Arthur Holmwood and Quincey Morris managed to beat Dracula. It is not known why Dracula joined Abraham and now serves all his descendants.

Girlycard!

This of course did not sit well with her uncle Richard Hellsing, Who began hunting her round the Hellsing manor in order to kill her. It is unknown why Walter C. Dornez was away at the time of Arthur’s death, but many believe he had planned what happened next as Richard hunted, Integra. Remembering her father’s words, She went looking for the powerful weapon that would protect her. She found a mummified corpse in a room and felt defeated. Her Uncle had found her, Lifting his hand he strikes her and draws blood that lands in front of the corpse, it starts to move as Richard makes a grand speech, in a flash the two guards that had come with Richard were killed by the reborn Dracula now known as Alucard. Richard opened fire to only be strangled by the monstrous vampire. Dropping his gun Richard is dropped to the floor and Integra shoots him. Bowing down Alucard swears his loyalty to the real Hellsing blood line.

Bayonet Anderson

Alucard would meet Anderson once again this time under a flag of peace as Integra called a meeting with Enrico to find out who was behind the attack on the Hellsing manor. During the talks Enrico insults Integra and Alucard appears in front of him at the same time Anderson appears at Enricos side both dying to fight the other, only to be interrupted by a group of tourist lead by Seras at the museum where the meeting was taking place, as part of a deal she had made with Walter that the museum was not to be destroyed and if the two of them were to fight the museum would have been laid to waste. They discover that the attack was in fact Millenniums doing which they had already discovered from Jan Valentine, But Enrico gives Integra a document that his superiors had ordered he hand over . Integra finds a lead about millennium in Brazil and sends Alucard to investigate.

Ace of Spades

As Alucard returns he tells Integra what he has learned, but before they can come up with a plan A warship is taken over by Rip Van Winkle is another lieutenant of Millennium. She steals the warship to lure Alucard away from Hellsing and Brittan. She is able to shoot a stealth fighter that Alucard has managed to borrow to get to the ship out of the sky with the musket that she carries. The bullets seem to have a life of their own twisting and turning at her will as she fires. Alucard kills her with ease and then realizes what has happened. Using his ablities Alucard takes over the ship and uses his shadows to make it move without wind or power. the ship moves towards england under the power of Alucard's own mind.

Alucard returns to London on a ship made of shadows destroying the catholic armies in his wake and bringing forth his familiars (people he has killed in his long life) Anderson realises it is now the time to finish the vampire and the battle begins, Alucard pulls out a large black pistol that he had not used before called the Jackal blowing off Anderson left arm, Anderson is surprised when he does not regenerate straight away. Taunting the priest Anderson goes feral and charges head first into Alucards familiars using one of his most powerful attacks he is still over run and left for dead. Saved by Heinkel Wolfe and her partner Yumie Anderson regenerates and once again goes off to face the vampire. This time he confronts Alucard and shows him a weapon given to him by Section III Matthew had given him Helena’s nail. Alucard knows what the nail will do and tells Anderson not t become a monster like he is. But Anderson stabs himself in the heart with the weapon and with his new powers almost kills Alucard before Seras stops the attacks just long enough for Alucard to regain his strength and after a display of massive power rips the Nail along with Anderson still beating heart. As Anderson lays dying he speaks a last few words of pity to Alucard and passes away and turns to ash.

Young Walter Returns

As the battle rages on it soon looks as if Walter has the upper hand tearing apart Alucard and then impaling him, But it turns out to be a illusion cast by the Vampire who appears behind him in the body of the young girl he had taken over during the Warsaw raid and takes Walter by surprise, Gaining the upper hand. But it does not last Alucard drinks the blood of the city and seems to have one the day, Until Schrodinger a young werewolf in the Millennium force commits suicide and allows his blood to be drunk along with the rest of the city. Walter begs the Major to let him kill Alucard without any help and Alucard vanishes apparently beaten by the poison now in his blood.

Alucard as Girlycard

This is the form Alucard takes during the Warsaw invasion in 1944, Alucard takes the form of a young girl who is nicknamed Girlycard by Walter C. Donez, Walter ask Alucard why he has taken such a form and Alucard simply reply’s, “Forms mean nothing to me.” In this state the girl looks about nine years old and carries a tommy gun. This is probably due to the fact that the pistols had not been made for him yet, Walter is merely 14 years old and just as dangerous as Alucard. During the events of Hellsing Dawn Girlycard is cut in half leaving Walter to face The Captain by himself. Alucard displays amazing powers as the young nine year old and she is later seen again near the end of the hellsing Manga’s. It is still unkown why Alucard took this form. But many suspect the Arthur Van Hellsing put limits on Alucards powers and this forced Alucard into a smaller body. This argument is later disproved when Alucard at the height of his power takes this from once again when facing the traitor Walter.

Father Alexander Anderson

The two meet in battle more than once, They seem to share a kindred spirit. From each battle we see them fight with fierce abilities. But at the end no matter who wins, I have noticed that they always leave the battlefield with a smile. I believe this is because they both in some way wish for death and enjoy a great battle where the outcome is never certain. This is proven when Anderson is killed after the nail had been removed from his heart, Alucard says he would have been happy to die at the hands of Anderson if he was human. The priest replies telling Alucard that he pities the monster he is, As he will never know death and Alucard says Amen.

Their battles have captured the imagination of each reader, the first battle we see Anderson regeneration powers and he then goes on to behead Alucard and is told of Alucard’s true power. The two meet again and a battle is about to break out but it is stopped. You can see the blood lust between the two of them, But the battle never happens. They do not fear each other and seem willing to do anything to fight and push themselves to the limit. The only thing able to stop them is their masters.

Walter C. Dornez

The two of them seem to share a bond dating from back in Warsaw, when the two were sent back by Arthur Hellsing to defeat Millennium. In fact it is Alucard that nick names Walter the Angel of Death due to his blood lust on the battle field. It appears at this time that they have succeeded in defeating the Nazi group. As Alucard is imprisoned it seems as if Walter has returned to his job as the Hellsing butler and personal body guard of the Hellsing leader. In fact it was all a lie. We find out in issue 9 that Walter had in fact made a deal with millennium, he wished to face Alucard in battle and millennium gave him that option. So he betrayed Hellsing and began his fight with Alucard.

During the fight we find out many things about the two of them, Walter is now a vampire with great skill, Cutting buildings in two with ease, he fight Alucard toe to toe and reveals how he is much like Anderson in his bloodlust and willing to do anything to win.

Seras All grown up

No one knows why Alucard turned Seras into his servant, Many people believe he knew he was going to die and wanted to leave Integral with a servant. At first he see’s her as weak and a coward for not accepting what she is turning into, In fact he almost ignores her and gives responsibility of training her to Walter C. Dornez. He helps her from time to time, but as she grows as a vampire so does the love for her master, Almost willing to do anything for Alucard. Her devotion is not unlike what we have seen in movies when a vampire is turned. In the start she can almost not be apart from him and as time goes on she becomes stronger and no longer needs Alucard near by. They can communicate to each via their minds.

In the end when Seras has become a full vampire she aids Alucard in his battle against Walter. At first Alucard mocks her, calling her girl and how he can always hear her voice. But as she walks away to face the rest of Millennium he calls her and Integral magnificent. It is as if Alucard had been waiting for her to turn before he accepted her fully. Now believing that she is able to serve Integral Alucard starts his fight with Walter and what could be his death knowing that the Hellsing name will live on with in Seras.

Beauty and the beast

Slave and master or master and slave, Alucard and Integral have a very strange relationships, It appears as if Integral is in control, But Alucard seems to be able to pull the strings to his advantage. He treats her like a distant friend but will always put his life on the line for her no matter what. It is still unknown why Alucard serves the Hellsing blood line so blindly .

But yet they seem to have some strange line of friendship, Alucard has known Integral since she was but a child and in some way Integral see’s Alucard as her white knight. Both have very strong personalities. But at the end of the day he follows her command, even if he does bend the rules sometimes.

 

Father of Integral and brother to Richard, and, he is a direct descendant of Abraham Van Hellsing. Arthur is directly responsible for sending Alucard and Walter C. Dornez toduring World War 2.  Arthur is both a brave and strong man after the events in he believed that Alucard was not the cure for this world, But merely a weapon to be used now and again, So he imprisoned the monster in the basement and worked along with the Round Table members to ensure Brittan’s safety. Knowing how dangerous Alucard was Arthur set about covering up any knowledge of the vampire’s existence, Only the round table and Walter would know of the power that lay below the Hellsing Manor.

 

In a flash back we see it is Abraham who defeats Alucard and makes him into a servant. It is still unclear why Alucard joined hellsing, but in his battle with he reveals that he was happy you be defeated by a man rather then a monster. As if against all odds he wishes in some part to be human again. It is thought that Abraham brings Alucard back to and knowing that hoping that one day the vampires powers could be used for good and to help protect . The knowledge of his existence is passed from generation to generation and no one dared use him until Arthur Hellsing brought forth the beast to fight against the Germans at and after those events Alucard was thought to dangerous and was once again set to the depths of Hellsing for when he was most needed.
