I'll be happy that the game is enjoyable, but something about perfect scores is just hard for me to grasping. Within the last few years we've seen several games heralded as "perfect," and instead of appreciating it for what was done well, I wait wil eagle eyes to find the flaws that were being glossed over. Of course, take this as you will. Doubting Thomas' are going to shrug, and remind themselves that Famitsu also gave Nintendogs the 40 out of 40 score, and everyone else is a Dragon Quest lover through and through.
Unfortunately we do have to be fair, as everyone is allowed a bias, and they're called JRPG's for a reason.
(The ten games Famitsu has given full marks to)
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Soulcalibur
- Vagrant Story
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
- Nintendogs
- Final Fantasy XII
- Super Mash Bros. Brawl
- Metal Gear Solid 4
- 428: Fusasareta Shibuya de
- Dragon Quest IX
