Called the Akihabara Seisakujo, this setup is aimed at mangaka who get tired of working out of their own homes (or perhaps those who get inspired by Akiba people-watching). As Heisei Democracy puts it, it'll probably be “a good place to sequester yourself for a pre-comiket all nighter” for many a doujinshi-ka.
I'm not an artist, but I do love doodling. I bet I could have a lot of fun with a couple of hours in one of these places. How about you?
