Akibaranger

Overview

Akibaranger is an unofficial sentai series produced for an older audience. Akibaranger parodies previous super sentai series as well as Japanese otaku culture. The show began airing on April 6th 2012 and will continue for 12 episodes.

Plot

Three otakus from Akihabara are recruited by a scientist to form the Akibarangers, an unofficial super sentai team. Using the moe moe Z-cune they enter their own delusional fantasies and fight the Blatantly Evil Guerrilla Marketing Firm-B. However with their delusions soon spinning out of control, the Akibarangers must fight to protect Akihabara itself.
