Aizen Stands! Horrible Ambitions

Aizen, Gin, Tousen, Rukia and Abarai arrive at the execution sight as Isane Kotetsu sends out a message alerting all of Soul Society of the Aizen's actions. Aizen requests that Abarai hand over Rukia, saying that it would deeply pain him if he had to kill a former subordinate. Abarai refuse and Aizen lightly attacks him and asks Abarai to reconsider, saying that it's difficult for him to hold back his power so that he doesn't crush an ant when he steps on it.

Abarai is taken back from Aizen's new demeanor and says that the Aizen Sosuke he knew doesn't exist anymore. Aizen responds by saying that Aizen never existed from the beginning, which sends Abarai into a blind rage. Sadly, these actions would prove worthless as Aizen grabs Abarai's zanpakutou with his bare hands and shatters it. Aizen prepares to kill Renji but Ichigo intervenes.

Ichigo, in his Bankai state, teams up with Abarai, who says that he has one last attack that will definitely leave Aizen open. The two execute their plan but Aizen is able to stop Ichigo's bankai with one finger and nearly slices him in half. With all of his opponents subdued, Aizen explains all of his actions:

Aizen extracts the item, the Hougyoku, from Rukia and is immediately attacked by Captain Komamura.
