Aiko Kuriyama

Overview

Aiko is extremely clumsy and her vision approaches legally blind when she isn't wearing her glasses. Yabecchi has a crush on her but due to many many misunderstandings, Aiko thinks of him as a pervert, a bad example for children and possibly a pedophile.

Creation

Aiko is a character in both Mitsudomoe anime series, Mitsudomoe and Mitsudomoe Zoryochu!, published by Aniplex with animation production by Bridge and the manga series Mitsudomoe, published by Akita Shoten and serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. Aiko original design is credited to manga writer and illustrator Norio Sakurai while her anime version is credited to Takaharu Okuma. Aiko makes her first manga appearance in volume 1 of the series and her first anime appearance in Mitsudome episode 1, "The Marui Family! The Good, the Bad and the Ugly!".
