This series takes place in a post-apocalyptic Japan and follows the silent, stoic samurai, "Afro," and his garrulous companion, "Ninja Ninja," as he seeks out the fabled Number 1 warrior in all the world for revenge for his father's death.
Overview
Created by Takashi Okazaki, the samurai warrior Afro wanders the land accompanied by the constantly talking Ninja Ninja. Since he is the holder of the "Number Two" headband, that means he is the only one with the right to challenge the "Number One" warrior and also the target for everyone else seeking to challenge the "Number One". Afro's path towards fighting the "Number One" is further compounded by the fact that he is also Afro's father's killer. This is a 5 episodes series is crammed full of flashy, gory sword battles, futuristic settings and characaters, and a Hollywood-studded cast of voice actors.
