Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero

Overview

Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero is an anime adaptation of the light novel series Hagure Yuusha No Estetica created by Tetsuto Uesu. The characters for the anime adaptation are designed by Hiroshi Tsukada. The anime series is produced by ARMS and directed by Rion Kujo.

FUNimation began a simulcast on July 16, 2012.

Plot

The story revolves around Akatsuki Ousaka who is an inter-dimensional traveler. After he saves Princess Listy from the Demon King and returns to his world, he brings a naked, voluptuous, pinked-haired girl named Miu with him. Due to the request of the fallen demon king, Akatsuki promises to take care of his daughter Miu. After getting home, Akatsuki and Miu find themselves enrolled at Babel Academy where people who survived their inter-dimensional tasks are assimilated back into society. They are taught to hone their skills for the benefit of society.

	Akatsuki is the maverick hero who saved Princess Listy from the demon king. Unbeknownst to Listy, Akatsuki promised the dying demon king to protect his daughter, Myuu. Akatsuki's specialty is brute strength and fast reflexes that can remove any woman's underwear in seconds, even when fully clothed.
	Miu "Myuu" Ousawa (鳳沢 美兎 Ōsawa Miu "Myū") Voiced by: Yōko Hikasa Occupation: Student, Demon King's Daughter Gender: Female
	Miu the well endowed, pinked-haired daughter of the late demon king. She goes to school with Akatsuki and adopts his surname, pretending to be his long-lost sister. Miu is very proficient with magic, unlike other students, Miu can use spells from different elements rather than being limited to just one, and can cast spells in rapid succession.
	Kuzuha Doumoto (桐元 葛葉 Dōmoto Kuzuha) Voiced by: Kana Hanazawa Occupation: Student (Class Rep) Gender: Female
	She is the representative of Akatsuki's class and a gifted student who is younger than most of her peers. Kuzuha is a hammer user and a person who rarely shows emotions.
	Chikage Izumi (五泉 千影 Izumi Chikage) Voiced by: Kana Ueda Occupation: Student Gender: Female
	She's a classmate and an archer who gets along with Myuu and Kuzuha after an embarrassing event that makes the girls find common ground by hating Akatsuki.
	Kenya Onizuka (鬼塚 剣哉 Onizuka Kenya) Voiced by: Hideo Ishikawa Occupation: Student Gender: Male
	He's the bully at Babel Academy who learn his place when Akatsuki beat him down.
	Kaidou Motoharu (海堂 元春 Motoharu Kaidō) Voiced by: Atsushi Abe Occupation: Student Gender: Male
	Kaidou is a care-free guy who has a hidden agenda from his friend, Akatsuki, who he calls "Akki."

Student Council

	Kyouya Hikami (氷神 京也 Hikami Kyōya) Voiced by: Takahiro Sakurai Occupation: Student Council President, COCOON Member Gender: Male
	He's the president of the Babel Academy's student council, and he specializes in ice magic. He seems to be extremely powerful and is very interested in Akatsuki, who is eager to fight with him.
	Haruka Nanase (七瀬 遥 Nanase Haruka) Voiced by: Marina Inoue Occupation: Student Council Vice President Gender: Female
	The vice president of the Babel Academy's student council. Haruka hates Akatsuki from the moment he steals her underwear, exposing her bare bosom in public and making a fool of her in front of other students. Her magical element is wind, and she uses a weapon called a batleth.
	Ryouhei Uesaki (上崎 遼平 Uesaki Ryōhei) Voiced by: Satoshi Hino Occupation: Student Council Secretary Gender: Male
	Ryouhei is in the student council, and he supports Haruka and Minami. He's a laid back fellow whose magical element is fire and primary weapon is a curved sword.
	Minami Aihara (哀原 美奈巳 Aihara Minami) Voiced by: Ayana Taketatsu Occupation: Student Council Treasurer Gender: Female
	Minami is one of Haruka and Ryouhei's friend and student council member. She is an expert in earth magic, and her weapon is a ball and chain.

Others

	Listy El Da Sherfied (リスティ・エル・ダ・シェルフィード Risuti Eru Da Sherufīdo) Voiced by: Rina Satō Occupation: Princess of Sylphid Gender: Female
	Listy is the Princess of Sylphid, a country located in Alayzard. Her brother died to protect Akatsuki, and after the Demon King was defeated she tried to make Akatsuki stay in Alayzard, but he left in order to protect Miu.
	Phil Barnett (フィル・バーネット Firu Bānetto) Voiced by: Noriaki Sugiyama Occupation: Holy Knight of the Disdian Army Gender: Male
	Phil is an inhabitant of Akatsuki's world, and his idea of becoming a hero is to kidnap Miu and bring her back to Alazzard.
