He's one of the Pillar Men awoken during Part 2 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He goes into sobbing fits to calm himself when his violent temper reaches its peak.
ACDC belonged to a race of highly intelligently, super beings known as the Pillar Men. After one of his fellow Pillar Men Cars slaughtered their race, ACDC chose to travel with him and the two children Wham and “Santana” to help find a way to conquer their weakness to sunlight and become perfect life forms by obtaining the Red Stone of Aja.
After leaving “Santana” in Mexico, ACDC travelled with Cars and Wamuu to Rome and defeated the Ripple Clan in battle. However, they were unable to find the Red Stone of Aja and chose to hibernate for 2,000 years.
ACDC was created by Hirohiko Araki, the author and illustrator of series, as a major antagonist of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's second arc Battle Tendency. His name is a reference to the Australian hard rock band AC/DC.
ACDC is a tall, well-built man with light hair arranged in a bouffant and tattoo X mark on his face. During his initially appearance, he wore a large headpiece with a red gem in the center, two hoop earrings, a nose ring with straps and a lion cloth for clothing. During his fight against Joseph, he has no top but is covered with leather-like patches stitched to different parts of his body.
Like the rest of the Pillar Men, ACDC is very confident of his powers and he often looks down on humans. Like the other Pillar Men, he is willing to do anything to help Cars obtain his goal even if those acts can be seen as dishonorable. Unlike the other Pillar Men, ACDC has a more violent temper and he has to sob in order to calm himself down. He is also shown to be well versed in tactics and strategy which helps him during battle.
ACDC first appears inside the stone pillar alongside Wham and Cars. He awakens shortly after Wham kills all of the Nazi officers in the area and transfers the blood to them. The three begin to discuss their goals about obtaining the Red Stone of Aja and soon meet Joseph Joestar and his group. However, the Pillar Men deem the group no threat and continue on outside until they are stopped by Joseph. ACDC and Cars then give Wham time to fight Joseph and continue on outside. After a minute passes, ACDC comes to check on Wham. He eats the dynamite that Joseph was going to use before it goes off. He then places his Wedding Ring into Joseph’s throat and leaves alongside Cars and Wham.
After some time, the Pillar Men learn that Lisa Lisa is holding the Red Stone of Aja and begin to search Venice. Twenty seven days after his initial encounter with Joseph, he encounters Loggins who was waiting for Joseph and finishes him off in one kick to the chest. Before he could leave, Joseph intercepts him and the two begin to fight. ACDC is initially surprised by Joseph progress but still deems him no match for himself. Joseph, however, takes advantage of Master Loggins body and cuts of ACDC’s arm with wiring. ACDC then goes into a crying fit which both surprises and disturbs Joseph. ACDC then quickly regains his composure and uses Loggins’ arms as a replacement. He then reveals his Flame Mode to Joseph and soon takes the upper hand in the fight by disabling and seeing through Joseph’s plan to use a hidden rope to send the Ripple to him. However, Joseph tricks him by using the Cut and Restore Rope Trick and sends the Ripple directly into his body seemingly killing him. However, ACDC brain survives, grows tentacles and attaches itself to Joseph’s back.
He manages to possess Suzie Q after her conversation with Joseph and sends the Red Stone of Aja to Cars in Switzerland. He tries to turn Suzie Q into a bomb into order to hit everyone with his blood but Joseph and Caesar attack her body and heart at the exact same time in order to keep her unharmed while simultaneously forcing ACDC out. ACDC the tries to cling himself to Joseph once again but is vanquished by the sunlight.
