Abrego

Origin

Abrego is a Colombian gangster from the Black Lagoon anime and manga. He heads the Manisarela Cartel's operations in Roanapur. Normally he wears sunglasses and a suit over a tropical shirt. Not much else is known about him other than his ambition to move up in the ranks of the cartel's organization. He also displays an incredible ability to survive the worst situations despite arrogance and his itchy trigger finger.

Abrego has a disagreement with Roberta the maid

Abrego first appears in the storyline surrounding the kidnapped Garcia Lovelace. Under orders, he is supposed to receive the boy from Lagoon Company but instead runs into the Lovelace family maid, Roberta. He and his men have a gunfight with the ex-FARC guerrilla at the Yellow Flag before she levels the bar with dozens of grenades. Somehow he lives to be picked up by Hotel Moscow who have been busy making war on his organization. Through some agreement or another, he survives through it all to continue his business in Roanapur.

He makes minor appearances in other story arcs, usually during meetings with the collective heads of the criminal organizations in Roanapur.
