This series starts a few years before the events of Ga-Rei.
A special forces unit with advanced weaponry is called in to destroy evil spirits that are attacking Tokyo. A large, fiery enemy tries to escape underground, but the team tracks it down and eliminates it. However, just as the team is finished, they find themselves suddenly attacked by a mysterious schoolgirl with a sword.
