A Silver Fox Bound by Fate - 縁に縛られた銀ノ狐 (En ni Shibarareta Gin no Kitsune)

As Sekichi continues his quest to build a giant firework in time for the upcoming festival, Ginjiro finds his past catching up to him with the arrival of a man named Torii. After showing amazing combat ability against the Men in Black, Torii starts a lengthy flashback.

Ginjiro was revealed to be the Silver Fox, a noble thief who worked to rob the rich and and give it to the poor until he was caught by this same man. The man made him an offer to help him fight against the Tokugawa Shogunate, but their rebellion was quickly crushed and Ginjiro could never bring himself to trust anyone again. However, with the appearance of the mysterious "sky beasts" around Edo, Torii asks him to take up his sword as one of the Men in Black.

After Ears follows Ginjiro back to his house and continues the flashback, Ginjiro reluctantly decides to join the Men in Black as he spots a blue "sky beast" and launches an attack.
