In the manga Miss Wednesday and Mr. 9 make an elaborate exist as soon as the crew exit Laboon. In the episode they stealthy slipped away.

The scene with the Unluckies, Miss Friday and Mr. 13, doesn't happen in the manga.

In the manga Luffy and the crew were on land when Luffy attacks Laboon a second time. In this episode he's sitting on the broken head ornament of the Going Merry.

Raftel is seen in Crocus' explanation of the Grand Line.

The pirates that Laboon traveled with are later revealed as the Rumba Pirates, that Brook was a member of. The captain's appearance changes later in the series. He was never shown well in the manga.

Crocus reveals that he was once a ship's doctor, but doesn't say that he was the doctor on Gold Roger's crew in his quest to find the pirates Laboon arrived with.
