Amaimon attacks Rin and his friends, yet Shura's spell keeps them safe from Amaimon. However, Shiemi, who is under Amaimon's control, goes to Amaimon. As Rin tries to rescue her, Amaimon threatens to gouge Shiemi and chokes Ryuji. With Ryuji's life in danger, Rin unleashes his blue flames and defeat Amaimon.
A recap of Yukio's debrief of the exorcists' training exercise, Shura's warning to tell Rin not to use his flames, and clips of the last episode begins the show. Rin is caught by the moth's tentacles, and Rin tells his friends to move on without him because he will use his flames when they are gone. Ryuji decides to throw Shima's staff at the moth and recites the prayer to knock the moth back. As a result, Rin is free, but the moth is still alive. Rin and the others run for now.
Takara and Kamiki beat them
Rin thanks Ryuji, and Ryuji says he is only returning favor due to Rin saying that he will beat Satan without embarrassment. Yet, Ryuji tells Rin not to handle things alone because Rin has friends. Shima, Shiemi, and Konekomaru reassures Rin. As the others laugh, Rin thinks what will happen if they knew he is Satan's son. Arriving at the camp, Ryuji finds out that they are the last ones. According to Kamiki, Takara is the first one. Takara insults them for being late with his puppet saying the insult. Konekomaru is puzzled by Takara. Shiemi has neck pain while Shura tries to figure out who sent out the fireworks.
Suddenly, Amaimon appears with his frog-like demon, Behemoth. Shura whistles to activate her magic circle while Mephisto drinks tea as he watches the show. Mephisto tells Amaimon that he will kill him if Amaimon kills one of the students. At the camp, Shura informs her students that training is over when Amaimon is here. Upon hearing that Amaimon is hear, Shura pours Triple C Holy Water on everyone except Rin. When everyone does their prayer, Ryuji questions why Rin did not get wet with Holy Water. Shura tells him that he's allergic to it.
Meanwhile, Yukio fights the moths in another part of the forest. He wonders why the tamers' demons are acting strange. Back to camp, Kamiki cannot contact Yukio. Rin asks Shura to fight Amaimon, and Shura gives him his sword back. Shura tells Rin that she saw his flames and asks him how Rin can fight Amaimon without using the blue flames. Suddenly, Shiemi walks out of the magic circle. Shura, who sees Shiemi has a parasite crawling in her skin, confronts Amaimon. Amaimon explains that he has made a demon lay an egg in her and that he can control Shiemi to do whatever he wants. When Rin rushes to chase Amaimon, he gets attack by Behemoth, but Shura protects him. After she tells Rin to go, Ryuji gets angry that Rin is doing things by himself.
Amaimon's French Kiss
Rin asks Amaimon what he will do to Shiemi, and Amaimon states that he will marry her. After finishing his speech, Amaimon prepares to kiss Shiemi with his mouth gaping wide. Rin attacks Amaimon, but Amaimon sends him flying. At the camp, Ryuji goes out to help Rin, and when Shima tries to calm him down, Ryuji keeps going with Shima following him. Also, Konekomaru follow his friends as well much to Kamiki's surprise. She wonders why she is surrounded by idiots.
Amaimon's broccoli hair
In the battle, Amaimon asks Rin if Shiemi is still important to him. Once Rin tells him to shut up, Amaimon explains that his cousin loves to collect human eyes and proceeds to take out Shiemi. Suddenly, a firework soars pass by Amaimon. Ryuji gains Amaimon's attention with his group backing him up. Konekomaru accidentally unleashes a firework that hits Amaimon's hair. This causes Amaimon's hair to form a broccoli shape. Shima tries to stop laughing which Amaimon kicks him in the gut. Then he faces Ryuji. When Konekomaru attempts to protect Ryuji, Amaimon twists his arms until Konekomaru goes down. Amaimon seizes Ryuji's neck and asks him if he was laughing at him.
Ryuji replies that he sick of seeing Rin saving the day when he has no talent. After Ryuji questions what is Rin, Amaimon squeezes Ryuji's neck for ignoring him. As the voices of his friends flood Rin's mind, Yukio arrives to stop Rin from unsheathing the sword since it is a trap. Rin apologizes to everyone for tricking them; he states that he will use his power for a gentler purpose. Blue flames appear on Rin's body. Amaimon, who is happy to see Rin's flames, attacks Rin with enthusiasm. Ryuji tells his friends that sword is Kurikara, demon slaying sword. Rin stabs Amaimon in the back and burns him, yet Amaimon pulls Rin's tail that causes Rin great pain.
Mephisto summons his cuckoo clock
Mephisto laughs and comments that Rin has a lot to learn such as keeping his tail hidden. After Yukio takes out the parasite from the back of Shiemi's neck, Shura arrives and sees Rin fighting. Mephisto states that demons enjoy pleasure in denial and in comparison, the moderate ways of humans are easy to corrupt. Mephisto asks Rin (to himself) which path will Rin take. As Yukio's group leave, Shiemi wakes to see Rin fighting and whispers Rin. Amaimon notices Rin's power is like Satan's, and he gets overwhelmed by Rin. Mephisto claps and summons a cuckoo clock that takes Amaimon home. Suddenly, Rin slashes the clock in half much to Mephisto's surprise. He notices Rin has completely lost the control of his flames and that the demon slayer has a crack in it.

- Demon's tails are a weak spot similar to another series, Dragon Ball, where Goku and the saiyans' tail are a weak spot as well.
