A Fateful Encounter
Char's Zanzibar docks alongside the White Base in neutral Side 6. Amuro meets a mysterious young woman known as Lalah Sune, and afterward his skills in battle seemed to have noticeably improved. While on Side 6 Amuro also meets Char in person, although Char does not know who Amuro is, Amuro is frightened at his presence.
The White Base leaves Side 6 and a battle ensues, the battle is caught on Live TV and watched by Char as well as others on Side 6. Tem Ray, Amuro's father is also watching TV and celebrates after Amuro's win, convinced that his latest designs improved Gundam.
