While many compare it to K-on! for being a Moe-blob show it really isn't that bad. The set up is Souta Takanashi is working at a family restaurant in Hokkaido with his strange co-workers: Taneshima Popura, a high school girl who's is Souta's senpai who is easily mistaken for a elementary/middle schooler, Shirafuji Kyoko, the 28-year old store manager who is lazy at work but one tough women, Todoroki Yachiyo, the sister like girl who's always carrying a katana around, Jun Satou, one of the chefs who's helpful but pretty scary person, Hiroomi Souma, the other chef with a easygoing attitude, and Mahiru Inami, who has a great fear of men and is willing to fight them off which is what happen to Souta when he first met her. While all of characters has signs of stereotypical design their interactions with each other is what makes this show run so well. It helps that A-1 pictures is working on it and has experience with comedy shows like Kannagi. The show also has a Kannagi look to ti while a bit blob like it animates very well. Recommend it to anyone who likes some comady.
